1. Machining & Block Work

– Block cleaned, crack-tested, honed or re-bored

– Top-hat liners fitted 

– Block and heads skimmed flat

2. Bottom End

– New pistons and rings

– Crankshaft polished or reground

– New main, big-end and thrust bearings

– Rotating assembly balanced

3. Top End

– Cylinder heads rebuilt with new valve guides and seals

– Valves refaced or replaced

– New head gaskets

4. Camshaft & Timing

– Camshaft

– New hydraulic lifters

– New timing chain and sprockets

– New cam bearings

5. Oil System

– Oil pump rebuilt or renewed

– Pickup pipe cleaned

– All engine seals and gaskets replaced

6. Cooling & Ancillaries

– New water pump

– New core plugs

– Thermostat housing cleaned and checked. Replaced and Pump Replaced

7. Induction & Ignition

– Intake manifold resealed

– New plugs

8. Assembly & Testing

– Correct lifter preload set

– Oil system primed

– Initial run-in procedure completed with fresh oil
